Location

Padre Burgos Castle Resort is located on the very beautiful and unspoilt south-western tip of the island of Leyte. We are roughly equidistant from Tacloban airport, served by many daily flights from Manila, and from Ormoc sea-port with fast ferry connections to Cebu.

There are also numerous other passenger and car-ferries from both Cebu and Ubay, on the east coast of Bohol, to Maasin, Bato and Hilongos on the west coast of Leyte as well as a daily passenger service from Surigao to Liloan on the opposite side of Sogod Bay.

Whatever your point of arrival in Leyte, we can arrange private, air-conditioned transport to bring you to the resort. If you are flying into Cebu, we can meet you at Cebu airport, purchase ferry tickets and transport you to the first ferry to Leyte. We have up-to-date information on all the internal flights and ferries and will happily advise you on the best travel arrangements.
