The Castle, Your Holiday Home

The Castle provides ideal accommodation and facilities for families, small groups or couples who seek the comfort and service of a hotel and the freedom, privacy and spaciousness of their own home. Set in beautiful walled gardens with stunning views, the Castle offers sleeping for up to 10 people in 3 double and 2 twin large air-conditioned deluxe bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. There is a huge open plan room with lounge seating, bar and dining areas leading onto a large patio extending to a beautiful swimming pool with steps leading directly down to the private beach. 

Positioned on the headland overlooking a secluded beach at the entrance to Sogod Bay, this was a perfect location in centuries gone by from which to guard against the approach of marauding Moro Pirates from the Sulu Islands. The Castle today has a modern, spacious, bright and airy design with the distinctive tower as remembrance of former times. Elegantly furnished and decorated the Castle provides satellite TV, DVD player, free wi-fi, music system, bar, restaurant, patio, swimming pool, shady garden, beach towels, snorkels and masks, plentiful fresh water and cooling sea breezes. All bedrooms have individual air-conditioning, private bathrooms with hot and cold water, large wardrobes, either matrimionial or twin beds and hairdryers. We have a back-up generator in the event of a power failure.

Accommodation rates include Continental brekafast with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fruit juice, cereals. Half board packages are also available and comprise breakfast and exquisite 4 course dinners. Menus comprise a mix of Filipino, Asian and international cuisine with the emphasis on seafood and will be agreed with you at the start of your stay. Meals times are flexible to fit in with your arrangements whether they be early morning dives or evening barbecues on the beach and separate early dinners for children can be provided if desired.

The Castle, being exclusive to residents only, is excellently suited for children with enclosed private gardens, swimming pool, and easy, direct access to the beach. Extra beds can be provided for young children sharing with parents or other children and complimentary cots are available for infants. We can also arrange a child minding service during the day and the evenings. The Castle tower contains a beautiful bedroom which is especially popular with the young and the young at heart!

The Castle Beach is accessed by a private staircase directly from the Castle garden. Containing 2 stylish beach huts, a bar and barbecue area the beach provides shaded areas, beautiful rock formations, tropical vegetation, sand and delightful coral formations just yards from the shore. Drinks, snacks and light meals can all be served at the beach.
